Attorney Solo Practitioner in Texas

I have represented corporations and individuals in most kinds of general civil transactions andcases involving real estate transactions, business matters and other financial matters. I havealsorepresented Home Owners Associations and created Condominium Regimes. The major areasoflaw in which I concentrate include Real Estate, Corporate, Property Law, Contracts, ProbateandBusiness Organizations, though I still help with most other areas of law in which my mediationand drafting skills are needed. I also have practiced in Small Claims, Municipal, CountyandDistrict Courts as well as Administrative and Appellate Tribunals, though I currently draft legal documents to avoid and possibly finalize litigation matters.

Drafted judicial opinions; conducted pre-trial conferences; briefed judge on legal issues andstatus of cases; attorney contact for settlement purposes. Appointed to sit on panel of attorneysinjudgment of civil cases. Appointed Master in civil suits.

Fall 1986

Created the first research guide of points of error and law (i.e., headnotes) to be usedasaprototype by the rest of the Justices and their Clerks; headnotes were based on all of the opinionsof Justice Antonio Cantu who at the time was considered the most prolific opinionwritingJustice on the Fourth Court of Appeals appellate bench, which just expanded and were makinginconsistent opinions at that time; researched procedural issues (qualified license to practicelaw).

Iwas a licensed Mortgage Broker over 7 years and an RMLO before that. Further, I ama formerTitle Fee Office owner and Escrow Officer. I have educated licensees in numerous Real Estateand Mortgage lending compliance courses. I also have been the corporate attorney for HomeOwners’ Associations. I have represented individual and corporate clients in many real estatetransactions involving the purchase or sale of both residential and commercial properties.
